Review: ACID by Emma Pass

I was lucky enough to win a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway. I was really excited as I hardly ever win anything!

The Blurb:

ACID - the most brutal police force in history. They rule with an iron fist. They see everything. They know everything. They locked me away for life.

My crime? They say I killed my parents. I was fifteen years old.

My name is Jenna Strong.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book. The cover was the first draw - it is amazing. I entered the Goodreads giveaway really not expecting to win a copy but I did! I was like a cat-on-a-hot-tin-roof awaiting its arrival! I liked the main female character from the start, she's tough but also vulnerable. I found the second half just sped by and I'd read the whole book in two sittings. Will there be a second? The ending, although concluded, hints there could be. If there is I'd definitely want to read it!
